Excellent location, just 15 minutes walk to lower Yosemite Falls. 3 different places to eat and a Starbucks on premise.
Rooms are clean and basic. Bed was comfortable. Very friendly staff. Yosemite Valley free shuttle has a stop here.

Disliked: Amenities
Old rooms with not enough heating working in the room. Plus no microwaves in room and one in common place was so dirty. On request they did get it cleaned. If you are looking location wise its best.

Disliked: Amenities
Only positive is the location. Rooms are very dated, they do not have thermostats, just extra blankets and portable heaters. No amenities - no breakfast, no microwave, no indoor pool or hot tub. Very expensive considering.
Did appreciate outdoor tours there, especially with your guide Deano.
We have stayed at the Yosemite Lodge for years - it is somewhat rustic but exactly what we expect. The food choices in the Base Camp eatery could improve but what they have works for the people who visit in the off season like us. The menu at the Mountain Room this time seemed a bit too off.
Rooms not 100% clean. very old. great location, great service and people , if you complain they come.
i guess its hard to mantain such a place,
just dont olan to stay too much at the room, only for sleeping etc
They gave a terrible room without hot water. Showers do not have any hot water. Changed my room in the lobby 3 times. It felt my room was assigned to someone else and then they just assigned me a room which others already rejected. Staff were not supportive, when I went to ask for maintenance, they were providing me breakfast coupons which I rejected. They don't understand customers problem think just by giving some coupons they can buy out our inconvenience. Will not recommend this to anyone.

Located at a great location but the room was not clean. Bathroom had pee stains on the toilet base. We are vegetarians and tough the lodge had marketed lot of vegetarian options almost everything except for a burger was out of stock.

The room needed a thorough cleanup; there were tights from another desk hanging from the shower and some mold on the ceiling. For the amount i paid for the room i was a little upset. Management was informed. The thing that upset me most was that it's one of the most visited places in the nation and should be exemplary because it represents our country.
