This is an older motel. The AC was a wall installed type and blows the curtains out and the air to the window.The door didn’t close tightly at the bottom and allowed light from outside to flood the room. I like a very dark room for sleeping and it wasn’t. The shower faucet was a single valve type and was difficult to get to the warm temp, it was either too hot or too cold. The young lady that checked us in after a long drive from Sacramento and a fight in was curtious but not friendly. Felt like she was unconcerned and ready to go home. This was pre regular season. But we were close to Yosemite which was why we came.

Close to park entrance. Not many eating places. We were thankful for a pizza place, bar/grill type restaurant and a mini market that were close. Rooms were clean. Appreciated the mini fridge and coffee maker. Would be extra nice to have a microwave.

The parking was very easy and the property looks nice from the outside. The location, which is really what you're paying for, is ideal as it's on the main road through to Yosemite Valley. We chose to drive into the park (there was an abundance of parkin g in the park, we went in mid May) however the bus stop is just outside. Our room was very dated inside with the sofa and bed being quite hard and uncomfortable. The TVs are from the early 2000s and the kitchen is dated. The aircon/heating worked very well. I would stay again, but only for the location.

The room 315 was lovely. Very modern amenities. I think it was a large suite with a large bathroom and huge tub. Really nice staff and gift shop. I didn't know the Restaurant was not open yet, to have Mother's Day dinner. The bar and grill worked out fine; delicious hamburger and margarita. We walked across the street to the river and sat in the swing. We didn't use the pool. I would definitely stay again.

Room 168 - Wall paper peeling off near beds. Water issue above? Out door hot tub cold. No housekeeping service during stay of 2 days. Staff helpful, friendly and accommodating when requests made. Close to Yosemite entrance but restaurant closed. Suggest eat at local Yosemite offerings before evening return. Great local bar onsite!

I recently stayed at the Yosemite Cedar Lodge with my family, and it was a great base for our Yosemite adventure! The lodge is located near the Merced River and offers beautiful views. The rooms were spacious, and we appreciated the mini-fridge and coffeemaker. The outdoor pool was a hidden gem, and the picnic area was perfect for a family dinner. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant on site served decent food.
