Hotel staff were friendly. Unfortunately when we arrived the lounge was already closed for the night (11pm). Buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of selection. Unfortunately, we were approached in the parking lot by someone asking for money. Lots of people seemed to be living out of their vehicles in the area and there appeared to be lots of vandalism to property in and around the hotel. Don’t think this hotel is in the safest part of Calgary but our stay was decent overall.

the pool was being renovated so not in use-not on the website. the 1 elevator didn’t work and sometime the other elevator didn’t work could not change reservation thru expedia fora four day reservation. so i was a little pissed off.

The room did not come with a closet to hang up suits or shirts. It had some unit with the ironing board in it but no rod that goes across or hooks to put clothing on, but it had five hangers. What sense does that make? I was not happy about that.
