Not so great a stay at the Port O Call.

Couch, office chair & carpet was disgustingly dirty. If it hadn’t been for late travel in extreme cold weather, I would have went somewhere else. Inspection of the bed, seemed to be okay and bathroom was clean.

We found the hotel was excellent, the rooms and facilities were clean, the rooms were large, comfortable beds, good water pressure in the showers, 3 hot tubs at perfect temperature, great water slide for the kids, the staff were all excellent. I would stay there again.

Avoid at all costs

What a terrible experience. First, if you require a prebooked time spot for the pool, that should be mentioned as we were there with two kids in cheer competitions that were pretty disappointed when they were refused entry to the pool even AFTER the front desk told us the time spot, but then decided to fight with us saying that’s not what they said. I get mistakes happen but in customer service try to find a solution not blaming the customer. Secondly the fire alarm went off at 6 in the morning. Tried to call the front desk no answer multiple times, zero communication as what to was going on. Just left everyone standing around in -30 with their kids. Thirdly worst food and service in the lounge. Took our two kids there for supper, no one wanted to eat the service was horrible with them continuing to talk in another language and not be concerned with getting drink orders or seeing how our meals were. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else. Every single person that stayed their with our comp team was less than impressed and won’t be staying again.
