The door to the balcony would not stay shut. Therefore the room would get cool and the heat would come on. All night off and on. The water in the shower was Luke warm.

Perfect location for us near Fanueil Hall, TD Garden and the North End. Paula at the front desk was helpful and professional. Josh the valet was courteous and welcoming. Nelson helped store our bags. The room was a little dated. Large and deep Roman tub was unexpected to climb into. Two odd poles from the ceiling in the room. Yet clean and also quiet for the location.

The room we got had a great view and the location was great. However the room was very cold even with the heat cranking. The bathroom tub,shower and toilet began to back up most likely due to freezing pipes. The hotel gave us a new room.

The staff needs to grow a personality. There is only one floor that has an I machine. And it doesn't work. I had to get it from their kitchen. When I asked where the ice machine was, a staff told me that it was on the 3rd floor. Didn't mention that it didn't work. I brought my ice bucket to the front desk and then they directed me to the restaurant. My room had half a window facing a building. The wall paper was coming off the wall and where were some weird brown spots in the tub and wall that kind of grossed us out. In all fairness, Im pretty sure it was paint. The place was centrally located in a nice area. But for the price, I expected better and am sure other similarly places offer nicer places. Im not staying here again.

Staff was exceptional. Front desk, manager, breakfast server…all excellent. The facility needs assistance. Rooms had worn/stained carpet, bathrooms were old and walls peeling, restaurant needed detailed cleaning, dead flowers on the tables. More maintenance, repair than housekeeping.

Love the Bostonian Hotel. Close to every where we want to be in Boston. A quick walk to Faneuil Hall one way and short little walk to Mike’s Pastry. If a hockey game is your deal another short walk. The Bostonian Hotel is clean, the workers are nice and quick to help. Every room I had stayed in is lovely.
