Bonbeach beach accommodation

Breakfast was great. The room 821 was a bit run down and looked tatty which we hadn’t had before when staying at The View. We also got hit for $21 parking which was a surprise as we haven’t pad parking before. One of the lifts was out of order which made accessing the room painful and the one operating light was crowded and slow to get to as a result. We have stayed at View about 5 times this year and this was the only time the room has felt worn and run down. The parking was an unpleasant surprise.

Room not very clean and had a bad smell. The pool was locked every time I tried to visit (3-4 attempts). Other than that, it was fine

Everything went well until breakfast! I’m let took 25 mins to get to the table! Pastries were so dry I couldn’t even cut them with a knife! Inedible! As were the friands - eggs (easy over) ordered were perfect. The fresh fruit was great as were the toast selections. Coffee was good - room and service dest staff were great - no complaints there at all.

It was all very good. Light sleepers may be better suited not having a river view due to train noise
