Intimate Boutique Hotel

What a great hotel. Very small and very quiet. Staff very kind and attentive. Check in and out a breeze. Hotel location is amazing! You are right in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, surrounded by shopping, restaurants, and bars. A short walk to everything from historic sites to public transportation.

Poor quality and 1st impression when we entered our room, there were a lot of hair under the blanket on the bed sheets from the previous guests. The hotel itself is inside a mall and you'd need to go through the mall to enter the hotel. Overall we don't recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed a beautiful three night stay at the Malda Hotel, which is situated perfectly in the old Gothic quarters. Beautiful shops, restaurants, and sites are all within walking distance. Because of the construction going on in the city, we opted not to have a car during our stay in Barcelona, and we enjoyed the very convenient and easy to use metro and bus systems to get around when we were not going by foot. Our room was beautiful and well appointed, with a very comfortable bed, and beautiful bathroom facility. The staff was very helpful and organizing a taxi to pick us up on the morning of our departure, so we had nothing to worry about when it was time to leave, other than thinking about when we would return. We are grateful for the experience we had at this hotel and in the beautiful city of Barcelona.

Once you figure out how to find this hidden gem, you will enjoy the large comfortable rooms, great service, and the fantastic location in the middle of everything. It’s a great little hotel. The cleaning staff was excellent!

Location, location, location

Hotel itself is a very good boutique with an attractive modern style; very clean; and courteous, professional staff. It is located between Las Ramblas and the cathedral with very limited taxi access; we were picked up by taxi when we left but no one was willing to drive us in, which was especially annoying when we first came from the airport and were dropped with our bags on Las Ramblas four blocks short. The hotel is also on the second floor of a galleria and not easy to find initially.

Fantastic location, close to Metro and beautiful shops and pubs. During my stay Spain had the electricity outage and the staff went out of their way to ensure all the guests were looked after. The beds are very comfortable, sheets and pillows are virtually new and plush. Bathrooms are super modern and shining. Highly recommended and will come back to stay again.

This was the perfect place to stay in Barcelona! The location is unbeatable, just steps away from great shopping and fantastic restaurants. The hotel was spotless, and the rooms were beautifully decorated with a stylish, welcoming vibe. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Daniel, the manager, and his entire team were absolutely amazing, so accommodating, warm, and genuinely friendly. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! In today’s world, it's rare to find a hotel that truly cares about its guests and goes the extra mile to make sure everyone feels happy and well taken care of. Well done and thank you!
