The staff was very kind and helpful. My room met expectations, and they refreshed it daily. The only downside is location - I picked this hotel because I booked several day tours that offered hotel pickup from this location, but it was hard to find restaurants or shopping within walking distance. I would stay again though

Convenient proximity to City Link bus stop. So easy to travel around the CBD. Staff were helpful and the facilities were spotless. Lone Star deserve their one star rating. Absolutely poor service and we heard a lot of apologies from staff regarding food and drink supplied. We would stay again at the Mercure though as access to transport meant that we could dine anywhere and we had a fabulous time

I know this establishment well and I decided to try it out for myself before hosting Int visitors during the course of the New Year . I have been lied to that the security Deposit / Bond that they had taken from me was a hold only . After my stay my Bank told me it was a debit in fact ! That money has not been returned till now - 6 days on !
