Yigo is a place with loads of cool stories to tell. If you think your life's been a bit humdrum lately, a trip here is the perfect answer!

Don't forget to bring a picnic blanket for a leisurely bite by the water at Ritidian Beach or Tumon Beach.

The tranquil sounds of the natural world await you at Talofofo Falls. It's situated just 35 kilometres away, so you needn't be on the road all day. War in the Pacific National Historical Park, 40 kilometres away, is another recommended choice.

South Pacific Memorial Park is an excellent spot for a picnic lunch and a stroll on a sunny day. Remember to bring your camera!

Venture outwards and see what's going on in Dededo, 8 kilometres to the west. Lots of visitors come here for The Plaza and UnderWater World. Alternatively, Mangilao is 16 kilometres to the southwest of Yigo. Stop at this locality for access to the Statue of Liberty and the University of Guam.

Barrigada, 16 kilometres to the southwest, may be worthy of a day trip. Use it as a base when swinging by Micronesia Mall, T Galleria by DFS and Tumon Sands Plaza. If you'd like more convincing, other close by attractions include Tarza Magical Adventure Zone and Water Park and Ypao Beach Park.
