A cute little gem with a balcony view.

I really appreciated the room and section of the hotel I was placed in. It was super quiet, I LOVED the balcony view, and appreciated the washer/dryer in my suite. It was perfect! Now that I know about this little gem, I will be requesting this in the future.

I stay here every year for a couple of days, always great and clean. Bar and grill is one of the best! The bartender Nikesh, is a super guy. Well done sir!!!

I book a 1 king bed room, they gave me a double queen bed room. When I told them I booked for something else and I was looking forward to what I purchased they just told me "this is what we have. I wasn't in the mood to argue as I was just there for a night. But I did tell the manager "If I go to a restaurant starving and I order steak and pay for steak, and you bring me fish. I will still eat it because I'm hungry but it's ridiculous to tell me "It's the same price and this is what's available"

Beautiful spacious rooms with comfortable bed. Easy walking distance to Prince of Wales Museum, Legislative Assembly and downtown. Onsite restaurant was fantastic for breakfast and supper. Lots to choose from and reasonably priced.

I stayed in the new build section of the Chateau Nova. It was good, brand new, 1 bedroom apartment syle room, with a full kitchen and laundry room. It didnt have AC though, and I stayed in July, it was very hot. The living room window didn't have a screen, so with all the bugs, I couldn't leave it open. With AC the stay would have been perfect.

At the booking I asked for senior handicap room with no smell. At check-in w ended up with room 330 the furthest away from elevator and facilities. After complaining I got a new room 410, much closer to facilities. This room was unbearable with its stale cigarette smoke smell and very dirty air filters, so needed to turn off the AC. The USB outlet for charging didn’t work. The Manager assigned room 105 next day so we had to move. For moving and all my trouble the manager tried to compensate with a $ 50 coupon to use in their Restaurant,. The first night should have never been charged, in a three star hotel. The food and the service staff in the dining room was excellent. Housekeeping we didn’t see during our 4 day stay. 2 fresh bath towels I picked up myself from the laundry room. The upkeep of the facility does not justify the three star rating. Also the room safe did not work and was replaced but all on our time being in the room. After being told we get a phone call when the new assigned room is ready we had to asked again after waiting half a day. We met very friendly and helpful people during our short visit in Yellowknife.
