We came to stay as kids had a concert at WIN Stadium. Perfect 3 min walk to stadium & beach with so many dining options at our door step. Parking was crazy but Wollongong is hard to find parking on any day. Wld be good to be told there is parking available at back when making booking. On check in Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were so clean and beds were super comfy. As for people complaining about late noise - you are staying a pub so that is expected right. Wld highly recommend if in town for an overnight stay

Enjoyed a great stay. Awesome staff, very clean room in close proximity to everything in Wollongong CBD. The pub bar food was top quality for reasonable prices. Will definitely be my first choice when staying in the area.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Harp hotel. I like it because it is economical, and centrally located with plenty of onsite parking. I buy breakfast at a good cafe nearby on Crown St.

Central location in the city. Always had a parking space and car was safe. Plenty of food options around. The room was very clean, had all amenities that I needed. Yes, it is above the bar and there is karaoke night, but I stayed during the week and was very comfortable. I will definitely stay again. The staff were very helpful and kind.

Shockingly loud on-premise nightclub… no sleep.

Buried on page was info about 2am close nightclub attached… and it was LOUD. I did not see that info, it needs to be made more plain to see. I was not using parking so felt no need to go to the “about” tab. I know this was my fault, didn’t try to get a refund… I didn’t even stay there… I booked another hotel, and left by 11:15pm having not even used the bed.

Pre warned about noise . Stayed sat night . Music till 2 in the morning . Earplugs muffle the noise . Dont expect to sleep . Security charge 200 dollars .if you need a hairdryer arrange before 2 pm . Otherwise 10/10

Earplugs essential

The room was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend earplugs, as stated the hotel is above a busy bar and nightclub which is open until 2am. And you will hear it! The hotel ‘reception’ (if you can call it that) is in the bar itself, so when arriving in the evening with your suitcase bear in mind you have to trundle everything through it. I waited around 20minutes to get checked in as they were favouring the bar over the reception (a tiny spot at the end of the bar) so the more people who wanted drinks, the longer I waited.
