The bed was extremely uncomfortable you could feel the springs in your back. The room was half renovated. Not value for money.

We booked a pet friendly room and noted in the comments we would be bringing a dog only to find there was an additional, not previously advised, $30 cleaning fee to bring a pet. Suggest this is advised upfront not after the booking has been confirmed.

Quick Stopover

It was an overnight stay only, therefore the cabin was comfortable enough. The location is great, close to the lake , beaches, playgrounds and picnic areas. Neighbours facing the lake were noisy, till early hours of the night, which made it difficult to sleep. The pool needed to be cleaned. Overall it was good.

Did not get what I paid for! No kitchen sink, want a drink of water, get it from the toilet! Wash dishes in toilet! Not even a broom! I took my Son and 2 Grandsons for a good holliday and coped this! Never again will I book a holliday through Wotif, I will find a direct contact number! You are lucky I don't instruct my Lawyers! Every person that I spoke to, were equally disgusted!

Disgusting! Property grounds need to be maintained. Windows we’re filthy. Floors needs a good mop. Mould in bathroom especially around bathtub. Loose brackets in bathroom. Wet and dirty bowls and utensils found in cupboard. Previous stays products found in vanity drawers. The whole feel was grotty and we couldn’t wait to get out of there. View is not pleasant from windows so kept the blinds down. Considered leaving and cutting our loses and find somewhere else but it was late with the kids so we put up with it but got out of there as early as we could. Would not recommend. Needs better cleaning and some time and effort not just a quick fix to get people to stay if you want a better review. Yuk!

The room itself seemed clean & ok to begin with but its like there has been upgrade work done but not properly as whilst it looks ok on the surface, its not overly great. The cleanliness was the bigger issue as there was random chocolates, hair & bugs in our room so it wasnt cleaned thoroughly. On top of that, we found some mouldy chicken wings in the microwave, so the previous people must have left it there but again it wasnt checked/cleaned properly betwen stays or we wouldn't have found it. The pool and the pool area is also very run down and unappealing.

If you have a dog…..

Best priced that allowed a dog. No maid service for the second day for our room. Good views of the lake and the hotel 2 km away had good-food at reasonable prices.

Friendly staff. The renovated rooms were clean. Most rooms had a smell of mildew, pets and cigarettes. Extremely noisy hotel guests til midnight up and down balcony outside our room.

The property was in terrible condition, cramped, and very unkempt. The railing of the deck was busted and unstable for holding the railing to go up nd down stairs out front. The swipe door access was annoying. Weird that there was no sink but dishes were provided, to wash in the hand basin in the bathroom I guess, which was gross. The cabin wasn't clean, under beds is a build up of dust, dirt and flies. We had trouble finding anywhere else at Xmas but we will plan way in advance to avoid ver staying here again.
