Book Walton-on-Trent hotels

We really enjoyed our recent overnight stay. We were three adults and one child in an executive room with one kingsize bed and two proper single beds, (i.e. not sofa beds or guest beds). We enjoyed the breakfast and the pool, sauna and steam room. The water temperature in the pool was lovely. The only negative was that the lift was out of order when we were checking out which was challenging for my elderly father as we were on the top floor.

Hotel is really needing a complete refurb, my room had the shower side collapsing and the room had barely any furniture in it. I mentioned this to the staff and they just apologised. Even walking up the stairs to the 2nd floor there was stuff lying all over the carpets, they were in need of a vacuum. I wouldn't stay here again, spend an extra few pounds and stay elsewhere.

Pool area was dirty as well as the changing rooms. The decor needs modernising and updating. Food was good but took time to come through. They ran out of beer and products. Like Stella and Southern Comfort. Staff friendly enough. Not worth the price paid overall
