Our family stayed for 5 days over Christmas in a deluxe harbour view room and we had the most amazing stay. Room was stunning and clean with big deck outside. Room service dining was fast, fresh and great portion sizes. All staff were so friendly and caring, even when we bothered the cleaners in the hallways, they were always so accommodating. The pool was the kids highlight of the stay, even though it rained everyday of our stay, the pool didnt disappoint and had lots of different levels to suit every child of every age. The spa pool was our evening escape and a perfect wind down after a full on day. We truly cannot fault anything about our stay and look forward to booking again.

Was highly offended by the treatment shown in the restaurant when our family was stopped after dinner to go through our items for the 2nd time by the restaurant manager but no other patrons were stopped. My sons were so annoyed they paid on the spot and worse I had brought my daughter inlaw on first trip to the North of NZ to experience that. Advised the reception who werent interested. Our accommodation was all prepaid but clearly they did not like the way we looked. And this is a hotel in my own country. Would definitely not recommend people to stay here especially if Maori. In addition the room was not cleaned the next day, beds not made or tea topped up for the 2nd day stay. Pink bacteria scum in shower and on shower mat. This hotel needs to lift its game being in one of the most scenic spots in NZ.

Perfect location for a quiet weekend away, staff welcoming and knowledgeable, renovated rooms excellent and loved sitting on the balcony looking out to the harbour. EV charger easy to use and our car was back to full charge overnight.
