There was no upgrade for the room. They did honour the $25 beverage credit. I was very unhappy with the pub manager. We had our dinner and paid by Visa, immediately after paying I received a confirmation of the charge from my Visa on the phone, the server and manager however claimed the charges didn’t go through, I showed them my phone and confirmation, still they wanted us to stay until they find out from “back office” after 20min the manager comes out and says yes they received the charges and we are free to go. About half hr later we get a phone call from the manager saying no they didn’t receive the funds and I need to go back and pay, I asked them how is that possible and I ended up calling my Visa who said they had mistakenly re credited after they charged my Visa, I called the manager back and asked if they could charge to our room and they agreed. The entire bill was $63 and they took over an hour of my time calling Visa and kept us in the restaurant for at least 20 minutes without even saying they are sorry about what THEY had done!
