Good hotel, enough space for 3 of us. They were really nice and even informed us of where to find a nearby laundry place. Breakfast was ok. Also felt very safe for three women.
Was a great spot! Lovely staff and beautiful room. Great location!

Hotel was the perfect location for me and I had a great trip in Venice, but I think in the interests of future guests you should note a few things:
- The room I had as a single / solo traveller was on the first floor and it was tiny. As in, barely enough room for me to put my small case anywhere, So if you are two people in this room it would be a bit crazy and you'd barely be able to move.
- This room (as its on the first floor) is right near the breakfast area and also ontop of a the bar next door, so it was super loud until early in the morning from everyone having fun at the bar and then super noisy from very early with everyone laughing and banging around in the kitchen space (there was also a super loud and barking dog for some reason). So if you're a light sleeper I would not recommend this. I always take ear plugs so I was okay, but could still hear both noises through them.
- FYI there's no kettle in the room - which I think would be a nice touch - and would save you trying to use the tiny one in the kitchen area
- On a positive - the shower pressure was amazing and the bed was pretty comfy
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Upon arriving, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade to a larger room. The staff were incredibly lovely, breakfast was reasonable for the price and the room was clean and comfortable.
Everything in the room was so clean! Walkable to literally anywhere. Plenty of good restaurants around the hotel. More than anything, staff was ten stars! Friendliest and most helpful receptionist ever.
Great hotel, a little tricky to locate as it’s tucked away down one of the many alley ways, but the hotel will send a map, use it, don’t rely on your phones map like we did!!
Very clean, no views of anything or anywhere but suited our needs, location is everything and this was between the 2 biggies, Rialto bridge & St Marks square.
Lovely hotel right near a lot of the main tourist spots. Yes it's above a bar but surprisingly quiet in our room. Only muffled noises. Room was lovely and clean and a good size. Would definitely recommend and stay again
This hotel is located in a very convenient spot near a water bus station which made it easy for us to get to and leave from. The staff was very helpful with the transport strike that occurred while we were there and they told us how to get to the airport. The rooms have modern bathrooms and beds were comfortable. Premise was clean and recently renovated but it was a bit difficult to find in the alley.
Walking distance to Rialto Bridge and just about everything. Clean, cute and breakfast available for small fee. Tip- don’t leave the windows open or the mosquitos will eat you alive!
Great location near the Rialto bridge and close to the train station. A very nice walk to St Mark's, but not necessarily close.

This property was very hard to find, but that is majority of places in venice. There is a small bar/restaurant right around the hotel wich is very noisy at night.
One thing we found strange was that every time you leave the hotel you had to leave your room key at the front desk. When checking in they said this was for them to tell who is in the building. I have never had to do this at any other hotel and quite frankly it was weird to give them access to all of our stuff while we're out. I'm sure if they had an emergency they have a master key but it was unnecessary in my opinion.
Overall the room was pretty clean. Bathroom amenities standard. Shower was tricky as there was a small glass ment to be the door but impossible for water not to escape when taking a shower. Also the hotel had a noticeable odor like sewage, and the air freshener they give you is plug in and started to burn when plugged in so couldn't use. Overall wouldn't stay here again, but manageable for 2 nights.
We loved our stay at this hotel. The only thing we didn't love is that they had turned off the air conditioning for the season and only had the heat on but we knew that it was a possibility by traveling in October. Luckily, the fan would run and we were able to open the windows. It was a little loud at the bar downstairs but that isn't the hotel's fault...just a word of warning if you plan on staying there and don't plan on staying out late!
Centrally located close to the Rialto Bridge. Veperetto stops nearby. Staff was super helpful and friendly whenever I had a question.
Rooms do not have a view, but I went out and got my views on foot. I wasn't paying to stay in the hotel all day. Try the pasta to go shop down a few doors down.
The hotel was not amazing but it was nice. The beds are not ok. That is my only complaint. Really bad, the good things about the hotel is that it has an elevator and the breakfast was affordable and pretty good. I would return to this hotel if not for the bed because sleep is very important to me especially when traveling and on the go. You have to be rested. One last thing about Venice over all travel light, luggage and water taxis are no joke.
Hotel Bartolomeo is tucked away in a little corner of a labyrinth in the main neighborhood of Venezia. It's so cute and cozy and only about a 5 minute walk to piazza San Marco. It's right by Ponte Rialto and seriously convenient to anything anyone wanted to do in Venezia. It has one of the smallest elevators we have ever been in. We know not to bring suitcases to Venezia, but even the two of us with our backpacks were a tight fit. Below, there is a lively local bar that is buzzing with life. We couldn't have been happier with the clean, convienient hotel. It's mid-luxury but still rather inexpensive.
