If you’d like to flex your credit card muscle, there are quite a few local design boutiques in Gerringong where you can pick up a nice handbag or sarong to take home. Alternatively, Gerringong is an easy 15-minute drive from Berry, which has an abundance of local wares from vintage shops, fashion boutiques, home wares, and much more.

For a small town, Gerringong has plenty of dining options. Fine dining at Shimmer, pizza at Zoobs, takeaway fish on the beach or high tea at The Schoolhouse, you can find all this and more in this little town. Alternatively, you’re not far from the equally beautiful town of Gerroa, which also has a fab little beachside restaurant, or you can book in for dinner at one of the local wineries. In summer, one of the best things to do is head to Kiama and grab some fresh seafood at the local fish coop and head back to Gerringong and enjoy your fresh oysters, prawns, salmon or flathead with a view to die for.
