Around 370,000 people live in this thriving metropolis, a popular holiday destination for wanderlust addicts like yourself. Uda is 20 kilometres to the southeast of downtown Nara. Eager to know how to get there from Itami Airport? No sweat. Hail a taxi, hurl your gear in the back and make your way southeast for 60 kilometres.

Are you curious about what there is to see nearby? Akame Shijuhachitaki Falls and the Hase-dera Temple sit towards the top of most travellers' lists. A few other local highlights worth pulling out your camera for are Uda Mikumari Shrine and Kissho Ryuketsu Cave.
