We just left the Onyado Nono hotel which they were my favorite hotel but we are so disappointed with the miss communication with the booking this year. We only booked one room with 13 nights for 2 adults + 1 kids who are 13 years old. However, we ended up paying for an additional room for my 13 years old son for 13 more nights. The reason is the hotel said on reservation it only said 2 adults with a 2 year old child. I was so upset and frustrated. I didn’t know what to do. I really don’t understand I book my whole trip together for from 5/31/2025 to 6/30/2025. One hotel to another, none of the hotels has problems at all but except this one. Please tell me what to do.

I stayed at this hotel at Level 7, hotel kept a special arrangement is can't wear shoes inside hotel including public area & corridors after completion of check-in process, at first it was not used to such practice but it is a nice experience for me. Breakfast was excellent with various choices. Hot spring, night noodles provision & some facilities are exactly same with Dormy Inn hotel. Overall it is a fantastic & amazing hotel for our stay.

Modern ryokan with option of western and eastern buffet breakfast as well as complimentary late night ramen. Walking distance to Nara Park. Room size fits 2 adults comfortably and young one age 6 and under.

The staff was very welcoming, and the property was clean. The amenities are great - drinks in the lobby, popsicles and yogurt drinks at the onsen, ramen noodles and toiletries as needed. We found the onsen to nice but very busy at times, so we tried to go when we thought less people would be there. Breakfast was wonderful! Location was convenient for travel to the train station, shopping and the sights. Our daughter’s loved the matcha and hot chocolate. Upon arrival we had some issues with our booking, and the manager Takashi Mogi took great care of us as did Expedia. In Japan you most likely need to book kids over the age of 13 as an adult. Double check with the property details on this.

The hotel is conveniently located right across the Nara station which makes it super easy after a long day of travel. The hot spring and amenities are excellent. It’s so relaxing, they even have a massage chair, free ramen, unlimited ice cream and yakult. Travelling in Japan can be pretty tiring but I felt very relaxed after long travel days at this hotel.

A very wonderful hotel with a great Onsen experience. The breakfast is something very special. Great location right next to Nara JR station. Only one small issue is the train noise 24/7 but not so bad as to disrupt your sleep.

The room was about 15m from the rail line, which is also right where the trains noisily change tracks. I would never have booked this room. The line for the ramen in the evening was also unacceptable, with only one or two staff serving. A number of customers took multiple bowls for themselves and grabbed handfuls of ice cream pops. I’ve stayed at several other hotels of this brand, all of which were cleaner, quieter and better run. I don’t understand the value of my Expedia Platinum status when I’m given one of the worst rooms in the place.
