Room was clean and bed was comfortable and had good warm blankets. Due to the -19° and cold air coming in everywhere, the wall heating system couldnt keep up. There were plug in heaters which helped. The entranceway needed to be shovelled as the city sidewalk plow had dumped snow/ice right at the entrance. We'd return in the warmer weather

This was my second time staying at the guest house. The location is fantastic, and I find the check-in process very efficient. The room is basic but clean and comfortable. The staff has also been wonderful about returning my passport, which seems to have fallen out of my backpack. If you need a solid location to stay without fancy extras, this is a great option. Can easily recommend!

Overpriced for what I got (a tiny room in the basement level) The room was equipped with shower, coffee machine (I didn't try) , micro wave (functioning) fridge (functioning) TV set (very small screen but enough channels) AC (I didn't try since it was winter) Heating (sufficient) Small window since it was basement level, extra blankets, and enough storage room. Need new towels since the ones I had were falling apart into fabric debris

The tv only seemed to have one channel. The heat was on very high and was extremely dry in the room. Other than that the place was clean and quiet. They also allowed me to hold my luggage there until later in the day. I would stay there again.

Second time staying here, and it's still good 6 months later. The major difference is they seemed to have locked the room to the towels. They do supply 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel & 1 face towel, but for people with long hair, it's better to have a separate towel to dry your hair. A/C works fairly well and quiet. They also pay attention to any special requests. Neighbourhood is still about the same -- quiet, fairly clean.

We didn't interact with any staff as we had a late check in, but Bruna was lovely via messaging with instructions on what to do for that and any other questions we had. Our stay was lovely as always, with our only complaint being that the single king bed was actually two singles pushed together. It wasn't a deal breaker by any means, but it was just not the best surprise. We'll absolutely be staying here again.

Victoria's Mansion is a lovely guest house in a great location. The staff very friendly and helpful. My single room was clean and the bed very comfy. There was a problem with the circuit breaker tripping when either the TV or kettle was operating and so it is being addressed with the electrician. Regardless, I was given a credit for the inconvenience which I appreciate. I do recommend the facility and will go back myself.
