Unfortunately, my experience at Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel was not very good. After arriving, there was no clear guidance on where to park. If you accidentally park in the hotel’s parking area, you are charged CAD 71, which felt excessive. The elevators are quite old, and on several occasions my key card did not respond after multiple attempts. The room and facilities also felt outdated, with visible wear on the walls and overall aging infrastructure. In addition, the in-room Wi-Fi was not accessible unless using a laptop with a wired Ethernet connection. Wi-Fi access requires an additional fee, which was disappointing for a hotel at this level. Overall, the stay did not meet my expectations, and I would likely not choose to stay here again.

Let’s start with Check-in. The person at the reception was very courteous provided me the key. When I went to the room, my key card did not work. I went down the elevator and when informed, they said maybe the battery on the door card reader needs to be changed. They quickly provided me a different room. The room was pretty old and dated. It requires renovation. But I got a CN tower view which was appreciated. The light on the entrance was the only light apart from the bathroom light which was easy accessible. It took me 10 mins to figure out how to switch on other lights. Atleast have a master switch or easy accessible switches. The phone was dirty and dusty. Looked like it hasn’t seen a duster not a sanitizer. The shampoo and conditioner smelt great. I loved it. The bathroom was clean. The pillows were very soft for my preference. Once I laid my head, it became flat as a pancake. I used 3 pillows. Overall I did not have a comfortable sleep. Breakfast was the worst.. the quality, service and selection. Limited options. Will not visit again.
