Lily at the front desk was super friendly and accommodating. We were there for our father's 85th birthday and when she saw that we were entertaining, she upgraded our room so that we would have more room to visit. She did everything in her power to ensure we were happy and comfortable.

I like the room, the staff who checked as in, gave us a room overlooking the Toronto city hall and that view is amazing ! What I don’t like is I have to call and request for toothbrushes & toothpaste and slippers. They used to have it in the room.

Overall, very good stay for a very large hotel. Nice location, lots of dinning options around, friendly and courteous staff, walkable to many key attractions. Nonetheless, place needs some more upgrading, like hallways feel very old, carpets in rooms are outdated… etc. Some TLC would make this place a top destination and a 5 star hotel. As it is, 4, maybe 4.5 stars. There are newer, and/or recently renovated hotels around that offer better value then.
