We were impressed !

This was everything it said it would be, a classic building with high ceilings and tall windows. Breakfast was wonderful and great service. Lots of friendly staff from our coming and going.

Very disappointed this time

They didn’t have the room I specifically booked and in fact it seems like they switched my booking to a parking lot view room with no air conditioning. I have read over reviews that say they discriminate against non Canadians and I truly believe this. They were very rude and unwilling to help in anyway. Will never attempt to stay here again

The staff was great, but the air conditioning was out for half the hotel and we had to use fans in the middle of August. The carpets were grimey and the hotel is in a sketchy part of town. We didn’t feel safe outside at night. I would stay somewhere else.

A unique feel to this property. The charm of the former courthouse was felt even with many modern touches. The air conditioning was being repaired in our room and the staff informed us of this upon our check-in and even escorted us to our room to ensure that we were comfortable in our room. Very clean and quiet hotel. The breakfast was delicious. Would definitely return to this property!

Unfortunately the air conditioning broke down both nights we stayed. The first night they were able to fix it late night and the second night they were unable to fix it. It was a very uncomfortable stay given the heat in the room in the middle of summer.
