We stayed for one night, between outdoor activities - the chalet was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, parking was good, and the hosts were friendly. There were good kitchen facilities for preparing dinner.

The stay was nice and the host Albi was friendly but there were a couple of issues that disappointed us in terms of having the WiFi internet cut at night and being rushed through check out the next morning. Other than that, it was a nice place with a very lovely view.

Lovely location overlooking the Firth of Thames. Alby was a friendly, gracious host. Nice touches like cookies and liqueur in the refrigerator. Kitchenette and bathroom modern, clean and functional. Pool needed vacuuming. Lovely grounds/gardens. 5 minute drive to Thames.

We stayed in the Kauri chalet and really liked it. The view is great. The connecting room, Rata’s view is even better, but that room is much smaller. If you are a bigger group, booking these two rooms together will be perfect. We woke up to the birdsongs and had a peaceful breakfast on the balcony. The stairs bring the charm to the place and we did not mind the extra steps. Owner/staff are very friendly. PAKnSAVE is only 6 minutes drive away.

Just a brief overnight stop but Alby was very welcoming and the view was worth carting our luggage up quite a few steps for! We had everything we needed for our short stay - thank you.

We were greeted by a friendly host and loved our stay here. It was set in a lovely area surrounded by plants and was very clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the view from the bedroom window which was private so we left the curtains open to look at the night sky. Fantastic!

Very chill property with amazing talented and welcoming host Alby. Our chalet was an upstairs downstairs set up with plenty of room and amazing views of the valley and sunset amenities were detailed and well thought out and exceeded my expectations.

We stayed here on our last night in New Zealand and were so glad we did. Such a warm and friendly welcome and what a place to chill and soak up the beauty of the country before leaving. The pool and spa were awesome, the chalet was clean with a comfy bed and wow the views and sunset were amazing. We will definitely be back when we're next in New Zealand

What a fantastic place. Albi was very welcoming and helpful and our cottage was beautifully presented. Watching the sun go down, followed by a dip in the hot tub was unforgettable.

The cottages are on the side of a mountain overlooking Thames Bay. Beautiful! There were chairs outside on the deck for viewing and our cottage had a full wall window to view from inside, The property had wonderful foliage and the hosts are lovely, The cottage was very clean. The bathroom and room we had were small, (there's different sizes), but the view made up for it. In the mini fridg there was chocolate liqueur and a couple cookies. (nice touch) We absolutely loved it!

Alby is a good host. The chalet has beautiful views. Facilities are fairly new. His recommendation for dining in town was very good. Only negative was the alarm kept going off about an hour before we left.
