Room 279 faces onto the main road which was busy and noisy with traffic and people. There is nowhere to sit in the room and one dilapidated seat on a balcony just big enough to hold two. The rest of the hotel might be in better condition but the annex where the standard rooms are is tired and in need of a refurbishment. The breakfast was quite good

Andy, not sure if the owner or manager or both but is a great host. The place is right on the ocean with great views and a nice restaurant next door where we had dinner. Very hospitable and helped us out with changing travel plans.

Hotel room was clean, comfortable and spacious. And the view out the window was quite nice. The hotel building is quite dated, feels like going back in time. Staff were friendly. Parking was easy and they let us leave our car an extra night while we went on a Milford Sound overnight cruise. Close to shops, food and lake. Hotel breakfast was pretty good but finishes at 9am.

A very large comfortable and clean room. Excellent front desk service and a wonderful breakfast with friendly staff. Overall an excellent stay ion a great location.

This is the perfect location! Rooms were clean and spacious in the suite. I loved the shower and water pressure in the room. Breakfast was okay… but convenient as we left early in the morning. I would stay here again. The location is PERFECT

Updated older property. We rented one of their larger rooms and were surprised that our room did not have AC however other rooms in the hotel did have AC. Shower was nice and had a large jet tub however we did not have time to use it. The breakfasts that we had at the hotel were fine with plenty to eat at buffet style breakfast.

The hotel is at an awesome location. The room we got was recently renovated, it was modern and clean.but the room has a strong smell of paint from recent renovation, I was having trouble going to sleep from the strong smell.

The property is very tired and attention to detail is just not there. Our power went out on the first night for an hour or so and there was no communication, nor an offer for any compensation or even an apology. The room is also the first room I have stayed in the was not air conditioned. The bathroom was really nice and clean, but the bed spreads were stained and horrible. The included breakfast was quite average. Overall they are relying on the tourist trade for this below average hotel.
