It was not as nice as the pictures and our initial room had a strong musty smell. However, the rep at the front desk was very kind and took us to a different room of which we were happy to move our things to. Great service.

Pool was very different than the pictures online. Mattress was super old and the it smelled of Mr clean. Needs major repairs and TLC.

I chose this for my significant other and I to stay in and be in for the first night together when he came home. I'm not sure if he enjoyed it, he probably did - maybe he didn't, but what I loved was how we stayed together and we did not argue or yell at each other.

Not what I expected

So I booked this hotel for its historic vibe with a cute pool area and balcony. Turns out the hotel is under Reno and half the hotel, including the pool is unavailable indefinitely, According to hotel staff. I requested a room change because the first one smelled terrible of cigarette and the tub didn’t drain. Also the rooms only come with one full-size towel which are very small. The second room didn’t smell so that was good but the beds aren’t really comfortable so it was hard to sleep. I recommend spending a little more and going for a different option

Mostly the hotel was under construction and remodeling. Also, the swimming pool was out of service due to it falling apart. There was no breakfast or any other amenities. Just the basics.

Front desk attendants were nice and polite. Building was being renovated on one side of the property. Room was quite, clean, gave a retro 70s, 80s feel with the furniture and bathroom fixtures. The room did not have a phone. The pool was not open. The cafe was not a part of the hotel. Open for breakfast and lunch only.

(Room 203) Check in was a breeze. Upon entering the room. I found the toilet to be running. I notified the staff and they quickly resolved the issue. The bed was a little stiff for my comfort but still comfortable. The AC was 7/10 because 70 felt like 76. Last issue was the shower. Water had 0 cold water. The water was so hot, i could've hard boiled eggs with it. Yes, id stay there again. Affordable and with a helpful friendly staff
