The front desk staff was completely OUTSTANDING! Anything I requested was handled promptly. I had an issue with my key card and engineering was sent up in less than 5 mins. This is a large hotel too. The breakfast was great. I probably missed the fruit options since I only saw melons and apples as everything was constantly being replenished. The omelette line was long so we decided to get multiple orders for everyone to decrease our elders having to stand for a long time. I was in town to see my favorite cousin’s son play football for USF. He’s the QB and I already know the NFL is interested in him. What a treat to see him live in my VIP seats up close. My favorite cousin and I have kids the same age so he and I are more like siblings. I cannot wait to come back for the playoff games next month as I’m already looking forward to it! Our stay made it that much sweeter!

I liked the airport shuttle, it also takes you to nearby places makes it very convenient. Our driver Mike was the best. Walkable shopping and dining makes it convenient as well. We liked the happy hour drinks, but the snacks could have been better. Some of the front desk staff was rude and seemed bothered by customers. Our room was nice and big. The fridge leaked and the cabinet it was in was rotted at the bottom, you could tell it was an on going issue. the batteries in both remotes for tv were corroded. The maintenance came right away. We will be staying here again in the future.

Overall, purely as a clean, nice hotel, excellent. I called ahead multiple times for a fragrance-free and as scent-free as possible, room, due to allergies, noted it in my booking, called and was assured twice it would happen. I made my allergies to fragrances and scents very clear 3 x and did my due diligence. Room was clean, but had a strong fragrance. Upon arrival was actually given a room that was not fragrance free and had to be corrected. Why? The room was no where near fragrance free and it was if they only took the note in the booking and ignored it. I had no choice but to stay since my arrival was in the evening. I struggled through the night with multiple reactions to the fragrances, had to take a lot of medicines to help me through. On another note, the Manager's reception was a big disappointment. Bar staff was not friendly and the snacks were swiss cheese, crackers, celery, carrots, ranch dip and trail mix. I didn't expect extravagance, but a little more would have been more along the lines of how it is marketed and pictured on their advertisements. Breakfast, the custom omelet was okay, soggy pancakes, broken waffle mix device--employee stuck her non-gloved hand up into the spout to pull it down to let mix flow, wow, no way to warm cold hard pastry. I was surprised at the low level experience this was. Not a good experience, but having a friendly staff was nice. I could not stay here again due to the fragrances.

The hotel was clean. Staff were friendly. The beds were comfortable. The layout of the one bedroom with two queens was perfect for our stay. I loved how restaurants and shopping were across the street too. The location was extremely close to the cruise port also. If I’m ever in Tampa again I’ll definitely consider booking this hotel again.

The property is in a convenient location from things. However, the air in the rooms don’t get below 74/73?!? It’s Florida. The lamps not working, plugs not working? The tvs skipped or froze so often when trying to watch something. If I was staying longer I would’ve made a complaint there but was less than 24 hours.. so I sucked it up. Probably wouldn’t go back.
