Nightmare not worth the investment, next time we will pay a little more to stay at Meriton in the same area. The pool wasn't operating which was disappointing on arrival. Gym was nothing like the photos. Our room had a water leak inside the carpet coming from a continuously running faulty tap, and nothing was done by the manager who was in constant bad mood. Only the day after the lovely reception lady offered to switch us to another room, which was slightly better although furniture was very dated and the TVs did not connect to the hotel's wifi (I had to hotspot). The hotel's corridors were smelly and full of marks and stains as an ultra low-cost stay would be, although we paid regular price. The best part was the comfortable bed and pillows, and the paid garage which had plenty of available spots.

The decor on the floors needs repainting. When we arrived mug in apartment was chipped, bowls were not washed - looked like tomato sauce- and the safe didn’t work. Reception staff were helpful but safe not repaired despite assurances that it would be. Quite convenient for the Metro for the city which unfortunately wasn’t working the first day we were there - not hotels fault but irritating just the same!

They need to contact booking agencies to inform them not to advertise their pool which was out of commission for a whole month one of the main reasons for our booking. As well not having hot water for 3 days was an inconvenience yes other hotel rooms were offered around Sydney but logistically it was too difficult to manage such a large group taking up the offer. A discount of $150 per room was given but we felt this did not really compensate us enough . ROOM WAS GINOT FEEL THIS REALLY COMPENSATED US

Check in was seamless and the front of house staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall I had a great stay. The only downside was being allocated a room directly above the parking garage. It was unexpectedly busy throughout the night and could get quite loud.
