what was booked was not what we were expected to stay in. advertised on this site as having shower...no shower. No bedding...and adjoining room which was occupied by a person sitting outside drinking, smoking and looked like homeless person. This was not what we expected The fact that the description did not mention that there was not any bedding, that there was no shower and that there was an adjoining door to next room is misleading this was not what was expected off the adds pics and description. We would not have felt safe AT ALL being a group of women and teenage girl. We did not even open get out and open the door it was obvious from the outside it was NOT what was expected. We left and found accommodation elsewhere. I do not blame Stratford holiday park at all. I blame the way Expedia has advertised this...very miss leading and i will not be using Expedia for bookings again.

Staff were polite. We booked in at 3pm but went to see friends and got back around 6.30. Sadly the place (tourist flat) smelt like air freshener masking cigarette smoke which we saw people can smoke on the deck as there was an ashtray. Obviously people leave the door open to the unit. The bunks were not to our comfort and that is on us but we noticed a screw sticking out from under the top bunk and also noticed a fair bit of dust in behind the bunk beds on the frame of the bed. Otherwise for a quick stay and less picky people than us it was adequate

Stayed in a family cabin with bathroom, four guys on a road trip. Bunks were comfy and had great parking for motorbikes. Really nice staff and exc check in. Perfect for a stop over when doing forgotten highway.
