We stayed for one week. The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff were all very friendly, and the hotel looked new and well-maintained.

The hotel is really nice; I loved everything about it. Just couple of areas for improvements: 1- Front Desk people need training; they were not able to help me with simple request about room type 2- Elevators are very slow. I think one of three was not working that made a line of people waiting all the time.

We got in late and tired so we ordered room service. Ordered a breakfast burrito and BLT sandwich. By the time they added the tip, tax and delivery charge to bring to our room it was $40.00! The food was ok. They charge a service fee and tip to anything you order. Even a can of soda they charge.

We arrived at 4:20 and check in was at 4:00. The line to the reservation desk was out the door and it took us about 20 minutes to talk to anyone. Nobody's rooms were ready so they were offering free drink vouchers, but only to those who were not happy and said so. Some people were not offered anything, so we spread the word around the lobby and bar. They went to the desk and also got the voucher. It took around 25 minutes for our room to be ready so it was almost 5:00 before we could settle in. We had a Gulf View King room with a balcony and the first night we were there it poured down rain. Our balcony only drained on one side and the other held water for the remaining 2 days we were there. Also during the storm the TV service kept going out. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were nice. They were just to busy for our taste and we won't be going back to that property.

We have stayed here a few times and absolutely love it. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean and nice. The pool is amazing and it’s only steps to the beach. We have stayed at a few other hotels in Clearwater but the Wyndham is the only one we keep coming back to.

The hotel is beautiful and located in a great location. However the pool is very small for the property. It’s very difficult to get a seat or go into the pool because there is too many people. Check in took really long because of “ computer problems “. Also at peak times there is 15 minutes wait for the elevator to get upstairs, on one occasion I had to take the stairs. The day I checked in a worker was kind enough to give me a ride on the employee elevator since the wait was about 20 minutes to get upstairs. If you want to book this hotel for a couples vacation this is not it. Too many small children with families. I also landed really early and reached out to them about early check in and I got no response. I waited from 10:30 am till 4pm to check in since check in is at 4pm which is really late. You must pay for rental of beach chairs and umbrellas when going to the beach which is ridiculous since you can’t use the ones they offer in the resort because it’s way overcrowded. Overall probably not a place I would go back to.
