The air conditioning did not work properly. It took about 11 hours for the room to even feel somewhat cool. There were lightbulbs out in the lights. There was no security bracket on the door. The front desk employee had no personality whatsoever.

cockrockes crawled over my legs & stomach while trying to sleep, I put the lights on and they scrambled.I prepayed before I got there and I still had to pay $143.43 & then get a $143.43 Credit on my card. I don't think the girl knew very much. The new paint job was nice but the Roches ruined it for me. I won't go back.

I thought it would have better kept being that it was in a tourist area. The room was not comfortable. A screw sticking out the wall in the shower where a shelf was held. We saw roaches in the room. The lobby was not cozy,no air conditioning. One thing that drew us to book was the free shuttle that doesn’t exist. The handheld shower wand was in the pictures online,didn’t exist. The pool was dirty. We will not stay there again. This site won't allow me to add photos.

Last minute trip to St. Augustine... hotel was close to things we wanted to see and not over priced. Staff was very friendly and clean. Could use some updates for sure but for a quick, last minute trip it was perfect!! The pool was closed so that was disappointing on 100* days

When we checked in, the lady at the desk was on her cell phone on a personal call. She pointed to us to hand our I.D. and credit card to her. She did not speak to us. She continued to speak to her friend on her cell phone. She gave us ZERO information about the hotel. There was a sign that the swimming pool was out of order. The water was green. The air conditioning was broke in the lobby. I asked her if the air conditioning in the rooms worked, and she acted offended. She told me it worked. I then asked her about the breakfast that was supposed to be included with our room. She finally hung up from her personal call. She let me know that there was a Denney’s attached to the hotel where we could purchase our breakfast. She was just rude! The WiFi NEVER worked no matter what device we tried to connect to it. I called the front desk and asked if there was a problem with it. I was told that she was on it at that very moment and it was working just fine. Wow! Why was an employee using the Guest WiFi? Housekeeping did a great job! The rooms were clean, and they kept clean towels supplied everyday.

Every time I visit St. Augustine, I've chosen to stay at this hotel because it's clean and close to downtown. But this time, it wasn't a good decision since I was never notified about the damaged pool, and to top it all off, the air conditioning didn't work and the phone charging light was broken. I drove three hours to get to this place with a one-night stay. I was supposed to enjoy the pool for a while, but couldn't. The heat in the room was terrible. Lastly, I was informed that the king-size beds were only available on the second floor, so with back surgery, I had to go up to the second floor, even though I hadn't informed them during my reservation.

Keys wouldnt work, and got locked out of room repeatedly. When traveling and exhausted, the last thing i want is to have issues getting into my room. Front desk person was lazy and rude. Sketchy crowd, guests look like trouble. I was afraid of getting mugged on the property.
