Check in was very easy and fast. We met up with our host so he could park our car. He had detailed videos of how to reach our room and also sent multiple ideas for restaurants and things to do. This hotel is in the palace so there is shopping and food all around you. It was super easy to jump in on a walking tour and learn more about the area! The room was clean and remodeled. The bathroom was pretty tight for 2 people and there wasn’t really anywhere to put your toiletries. The shower was beautiful and the water pressure was excellent. The streets inside the palace are very noisy, so if you’re looking for quiet, this would not be the place for you. Overall it was a very nice stay and I would recommend these rooms to everyone who wants to be close to the action!

Highly recommended

Amazing! The host was brilliant, lots of great tips and helped with parking the car (offsite) The location is perfect. Clean spacious and modern but meeting the historic feel of the city. The hotel is part of the palace and within the amazing narrow streets. Access to the hotel is via passcode/ token. Would recommend and definitely come back.

This is a beautiful and luxurious room right in the middle of the old castle with plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes all within a walled historical site. The owner picked us up at the airport and was very kind and willing to help out with anything.

The property is in an EXCELLENT location, couldn’t have been in a better place to get to the tourist sites, restaurants etc. The room was lovely; appreciated the big comfortable bed, great shower, lots of towels & toiletries provided. Host offered further help & we could leave our bags in the lobby on the last day. Brilliant place to stay in Split.

Great room, great family, great experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Grgur Ninski Rooms! We would stay here again and again. The family that runs this establishment (Mladen and Milka) are very helpful and kind. The room was in the best location, the breakfast was very good, the rooms were clean and charming. We loved our visit.

We will not stay anywhere else in Split. The service was impeccable, very personable and provided great recommendations of places to check out. The hotel is literally in the palace which just gives it a unique experience plus it’s close to a lot of different shops and restaurants. I genuinely cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Great stay! Excellent location, friendly staff (who collected us at the airport for a reasonable fee) and great recommendations on dinner. Breakfast was also great at a nearby restaurant. Would highly recommend staying here when you are in split.
