It’s totally cool. Old world charm oozes beautifully. But there is too much beige. The front entrance stairs are unsafe IMO. And the deserted plywood-surrounded vacant lot opposite the entrance is depressing.

Excellent stay at this boutique hotel, would recommend. The hotel is in excellent condition and well serviced, the rooms are very spacious, the breakfast is amazing overall this hotel has maintained the character of yesteryear, you won't be disappointed. Close to everything the airport subway is minutes walk and cost $3 one way to the airport, very convenient. Only cons lots homeless people about which is mostly all across the city area, but felt safe.
