Do not book partial ocean view

The rooms were newly renovated but still had signs of severe wear and tear. The “partial ocean view” was a joke - we just stared out at the roof of the boutique blocking the ocean. The fire alarm went off at midnight, scaring us and urging for an evacuation. Room was never cleaned and only provided with decaf coffee. That said, it’s in a great area, steps to the beach, and the pool and hot tub were great. The tiki bar was overpriced and rowdy. Go to the tiki bar at the restaurant next door for a cheaper, better experience.

When I checked in the hotel, I specifically asked if I had the breakfast option. I was told that I didn’t but two days later the front desk receptionist brought breakfast tickets to my room and stated they forgot to give these to me. when I asked for a refund since I was only able to use them for one breakfast as I was checking out at 6 AM on Sunday, I was told that I couldn’t because they were prepaid through Expedia. Nothing was VIP about my experience.

The microwave door didn't open properly, had to be banged hard. The power went out for 4hrs one night. The cabanas IN the hotel property had to be rented. There was a heated argument among hotel guests by the pool area. the AC unit had a leak internally and could hear the dripping at night. I will not be recommending or staying here again.

The hotel was pretty comfortable, bu found that the restaurant was quite expensive, & it didn’t have any choices, it could have had some quick lunch items, like hot dogs, sandwhiches, hamburgers with choice of chips or french fryes & also quick breakfast choices

Lobby and common areas were nice and smelled delicious. Room was not too clean but we called and they came right away to correct the issues. Staff for the most part was friendly. We found that prices at the restaurant and pool bar are expensive. We ended up going to the tiki at the hotel next door to eat. over all we had a great weekend. We started visiting this hotel in 2008 and we still repeat sometimes. Thanks

Staff was very friendly and helpful - everyone we met - bed was comfortable and room was clean . Beach was very accessible but had large brown seaweed that made it unpleasant to swim in at the time . The food was limited options, overpriced and not the quality you would expect at this location. The bar had friendly bartenders but was not anything we would spend our time or money at for many reasons . Way overpriced and drinks were weak and disappointing crowd there . Resort looked like Such a nice place on the website - it definitely needs some major upgrades and better food and beverage choices to hit the mark and we would stay again .internet was ok and transport N/A
