Hilton prefers you book through them, i guess

They have done some great renovations to this hotel. It is nicely updated. Disappointment came with the check in process. We booked this room several weeks ago. Choosing a King size bed. Upon arrival they told us there was no king beds available. They made us feel silly for using a 3rd party and blamed it all on the 3rd party. Also making sure that we knew there was no perks, incentives or not even a bottle of water to give us because we did not book from Hilton directly. Is this really how it is today. I thought these hotels relied heavily on the third parties to get their business. Well, apparently not. Do i continue to use hotels.com in the future??

The rooms were large with an extra seating area with TV that could be closed off by a door. That's great when someone wants to go to bed earlier. The drain in the shower drained extremely slow which made washing long hair a chore. The rooms had 3 sinks which made getting ready in the morning with several people a breeze. The outside balcony is a nice touch, but it smelled so bad outside that we could not use it. The hotel was nicely furnished and quiet. We had booked 2 queen beds, but those beds were full size, not queen. For 2 nights we managed, but I do expect to get what I booked.The breakfast buffet was fine and the family enjoyed the made to order eggs opportunities. The complementary evening reception ends at 6:30pm SHARP. If you arrive later, then you are out of luck for that day. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. The pool is ok. The hot tub was under construction when we got there. The pool abuts directly to the road so it is not quite so enjoyable. But they have truly tried to help that by adding greenery and water areas that have fish in it etc. I think for smaller kiddos the pool would be a lot of fun. The hotel has everything you need for a short stay and it is i'm walking distance to several restaurants and a grocery store.

My hotel room was spacious, clean and had a great view on the 7th floor. The balcony was an extra added bonus. I enjoyed the swimming pool and 24 hour fitness center. My only complaint is that both computers in the business center room were down awaiting tech support to fix them. There is also a self-checkout small convenience store in the lobby next to the front desk that I used every evening. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay at Embassy Suites hotel and will stay there again upon my next visit.

Publix supermarket is walking distance and has excellent sandwich’s. For $8, we shared a huge sandwich. Lots of other restaurants nearby and a Total Wine store. The breakfast is amazing!

I had a great experience the last time I stayed here so once I heard they remodeled I couldn't resist. The new look to the rooms are wonderful. It was well needed but unfortunately, the breakfast isn't as tasty as it used to be. It's always a plus to stay at a hotel who provides breakfast but for me, I found myself eating McDonald's every morning instead. McDonald's may noy be the best but the food was better and the staff was friendly and treated us with respect. The staff serving breakfast at the hotel was rude with nasty attitudes. Remodeling of the rooms isn't the only makeover that hotel needs. Since the property isn't gaurded with security, homeless people freely walk around the parking lot. You can also find them at the corner of the main street panhandling once you leave the property. Homelessness is everywhere but the property can do better in making there guess feel safer. I will not be staying here again.
