What a treasure Rye has with The George. Extremely well located, about a 10 minute walk (albeit some uphill) from the station parking, a lovely old building that's in good condition. We went at low season so Rye was quiet (great for us, albeit some businesses were closed for staff vacations...not a problem), and very walkable. We enjoyed several small pubs which felt very cosy and welcoming in the cooler nights. Strongly recommended.

A quiet friendly hotel with all the essentials and a great breakfast.

The outside of the hotel was gorgeous, I even got confused if we were in the right place 😂. But the inside was wonderful, reminded me of the Titanic. The hotel has an indoor pool, spa, sauna, jacuzzi and a gym. The double room we got was spacious and we loved the toilet. And the staff was really helpful.

Always have a lovely time at the Ship. Have stayed many times. Food particularly good this time.

I frequently visit Eastbourne,it is my Autistic sons favourite destination on the south coast ,we have stayed at dozens of hotels and establishments all around Eastbourne,the Burlington Hotel was 1 that we had not visited ,we have now stayed 2 times in April ,the staff on the reception are some of the best ,very friendly and helpful ,we would highly recommend a stay at the Burlington
