The room was immaculate. You can tell whoever runs this hotel really cares, the way it had been styled felt like you were staying at a friends home rather than a hotel. Towels and bedding smelt so fresh! A ten minute walk from the beach, and a minute walk from the steam train station. Everything was so clean and tidy, bed was extremely comfortable, and the room had lovely attentions to detail. We are quite private people, so being able to check in via text was fantastic, and to be able to come and go as we please without worry of a curfew. Additionally, I loved being able to see and hear the steam trains form the windows. Felt magical. Would 100% stay again.

Great place for a family get together.

The summary of the house was spot on. Good location for what we needed which was between Sussex and Kent. We had a nice day out visiting the Old lighthouse (the sun was out which helped). Trip to the local pub which had a pool table and a Chinese takeaway which is literally a street away. Would have been 5 out of 5 except for an issue with the WiFi. Not one of the 10 adults there could log on, the on-site contact did try to help but with no luck. It's a beautiful quirky property which suited us but there were a couple of areas that could use a deeper clean. Didn't bother us and all of the positives outweigh a couple of cobwebs!

A group of us stayed at The Seashells for a long weekend to celebrate a friends 50th Birthday. The property and views totally exceeded our expectations. Absolutely beautiful property, very clean and welcoming. The owner, Jane made sure our short break went well with good communication and local recommendations of where to eat. Just amazing from beginning to end.

This was good value in comparison to prices elsewhere and included breakfast. I took a single room and bed was comfortable and linen etc very clean. Staff very friendly. I have to go back to the area and would definitely stay there again. The menu was good as was the food .Very reasonable deal! Traffic a bit noisy in the morning as on a main road .
