Great location, one block from Copacabana beach and 5 minute drive from Ipanema beach. Rooms were cleaned daily and there was always someone at the main desk willing to help. Great service all around.

Simple hotel well located near Copacabana beach

Good hotel located one block from Copacabana beach. Buffet breakfast is very good. Only down side: no coffee maker in our room.

My son and I spent 22 days here enjoying all the football, foot volley, Açaí, Roxy, Marcacana tour, Copacabana and Ipanema Beaches, Christ the Redeemer, Urca Mountain, Sugarloaf, Lapa Steps, Roxy, Brazilian culture and more! I felt very welcomed and there's very good customer service by the front desk and room service. I felt safe. The doormen and security are also very friendly and helpful. Front desk told me that they do charged an extra guest fee which I thought was very strange because the guest was visiting me and not staying over with me, but I was also told that this is something common in Brazil. They were nice and made an exception for me because I had health issues and needed a guest to assist me with my health issues during the day. So I was not charged an extra guest fee and they were very friendly. I would definitely stay here again due to the location, safety and cleanliness of the hotel. Beds are comfortable and you have your own air thermostat which is also great. I had a slight beach view which was a treat. I enjoyed my stay. Photos of the king size bedroom was accurate and the bathroom had a great bathtub and lots of space on the counter for your toiletries. I was always answered promptly and treated with smiles. Even the housekeepers were excellent and nice.

The Windsor Martinique is a charming, slightly older-style hotel a few steps from Copacabana beach. The staff were extremely professional, welcoming, and friendly. I stayed for nearly two weeks at the property, and throughout my stay I found them to be accommodating and helpful at every turn. This hotel is clearly popular with tourist groups from all over the world, and they managed the flow very well. My room had powerful AC, the cleaning crew visited every day, and the water pressure was great. This is the sort of hotel you see in Paris, Rome, or any other top-tier destination city. In terms of the location, I found it extremely convenient, near both Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, and an entrance to General Osario station, it was in an ideal location for public transit or walking (and uber rides were also a great option). For those concerned with safety, I never felt unsafe walking around this part of Copacabana or Ipanema, even at night (it felt comparable to the Times Square in NYC). The area gets much quieter after 11PM and I would recommend using common sense in venturing out at night, stick to areas with more people, like the ocean promenade. We opted not to do the breakfast option, and if you are a budget traveler there is a great juice stand across Av. Nossa Str. de Copacabana and several smaller cafes and breakfast place, we liked Drop Coffee and Panadero. Enjoy your time in Rio, it is an amazing city with amazing people!
