From Revo, travel 100 kilometres north to find Innsbruck, a prominent city. You can also head 140 kilometres northwest to reach another major city, Vaduz.

Bolzano lies 25 kilometres northeast. The trip out here is made worthwhile by the Museo Archeologico dell'Alto Adige alone.

You won't have to be stuck on the highway all day to see some nature. Just 45 kilometres out of Revo, Stelvio National Park is a great place to enjoy some fresh air. Even more tranquil surrounds are waiting for you at Merano Thermal Baths, 30 kilometres away.

For a bit of exercise and the chance to frame up some great holiday snaps, find some time to walk around the Rose Garden.

Join the legion of devoted fans rooting for the Bolzano-Bozen Foxes at their home turf of Palaonda, 25 kilometres away in Bolzano. Fit in with the locals by wearing the team colours, red and white.

Once you've collected your pass and trail map at Seceda Ski Area, you won't want to waste a minute getting to the top of the mountain! You may also like to catch the chairlift and conquer the runs at Hochgurgl Ski Resort.
