The stay was great because of the Ocean El Faro staff and concierge. The orbits rep started out strong but after day 2 never got us a restaurant reservation, he just sent a generic schedule for resort. We found out it’s cheaper going straight to the H10 premium travel site and we received top notch service from the Ocean El Faro team and were part of privileged services. 100% going back again and again.

1st : We booked 2 Queen beds for room 2 months ago But when we checked in they gave us just 1 king size bed. They said not available. 2nd : My 2 year old threw up on bed. We called to front desk about it changed bed cover and sheets. We waited about 2 hours . Not recommended this place.

We had an excellent experience thanks to Reinaldo Sanchez. He assisted us with making reservations each day and consistently checked up on us to make sure everything was going smoothly. Reinaldo was professional, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made our stay much more enjoyable and stress-free. His dedication to guest satisfaction truly stood out, and we are very grateful for his help. He is a great asset to the hotel. We also had so much fun in this all inclusive hotel, the food was amazing, and the hotel rooms were always clean and stocked! Overall it was an amazing experience and I will be coming again if I get the chance.

This was my second time staying at this resort, and after such an amazing experience in 2024, I knew I had to come back. Somehow, this visit was even better. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. Eleago, Faustino, Ramon, and Emmanuel all went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, welcoming, and memorable. Their kindness and attention to detail truly stood out and made us feel taken care of every step of the way. A special and very heartfelt thank you goes to Reinaldo, who completely elevated this experience. I did not have him as my Guest Experience Specialist during my first visit, but having him this time made all the difference. Reinaldo is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely cares about his guests. He helped us tremendously with coordinating reservations for a large group, stayed in contact with excursion companies at all times of the day, and made everything feel seamless and stress free. What impressed me most was how proactive he was. He even secured reservations for us ahead of time before we officially confirmed, trusting that we would follow up later in the day. That level of dedication made us feel fully supported. He truly had our back and ensured everything worked out perfectly. This resort continues to exceed expectations, and it is the people, especially Reinaldo and the rest of the amazing staff, who make it so special.

The Ocean El Faro provides an average experience that is heavily tiered toward their "Privilege" guests. If you aren't upgraded, expect to be pressured by sales pitches and find it nearly impossible to book specialty restaurants. While the spa was outstanding and provided a great massage, the room service and maintenance were lacking. It took half a day just to get water bottles delivered to our room. We dealt with power outages and a leaking bathtub that was never fixed, despite multiple calls for assistance. The beach is rocky in many areas, and the pool area is overcrowded with a severe shortage of towels and seating. The buffet was decent, but the steakhouse was a major disappointment. Unless you pay for the status upgrades, this resort struggles with basic responsiveness and maintenance. The kids enjoyed the lazy river and the variety of entertainment.

Awesome stay at this resort with my friends. The beach and pools were incredible - there were so many pools. There was always something going on in the resort, especially at nights there was the shows or the disco or bar. It is a very family friendly resort. The food was pretty good for the first few days, but we got tired of it really quickly as every restaurant essentially offers the same food as the buffet. I wouldn't call this a 5 start hotel because the room decor was wearing down in some places and I've stayed in nicer rooms.

Went with my husband and two teens. Place was recently renovated which was nice. Enjoyed the lobby and the lobby bar. Room and pool/beach towels were nice and thick. Many food options. I liked the french and the Mexican place. Our guest specialist Reinaldo was helpful with making reservations for the restaurants. We didn't make it to any of the shows but make sure to check if they have someone playing at the piano bar. The waves were big when we were there but you can go to the smaller more sheltered beach to the left around the corner to swim. There were way too few beach chairs which did not make sense because there's a lot of room. So if you want to hang out at the beach you need to go early to get space. All in all we had an enjoyable time.

Amazing staff very well maintained property. Welcoming staff. The only thing that was very disappointing was the very next day I checked in they pushed me to go to a travel rewards sales pitch. They was very intimidating and honestly I spend over 2 hours while originally staff pitched that it was an orientation and would have welcome gifts for us. Apart from that we had an amazing time specially guest services staff Reinaldo was amazing, he went above and beyond to be on check all the time if we needed anything.

The pools and lazy river were wonderful, and the food was excellent. Some staff were outstanding, with special shout outs to Reinaldo (took care of everything we needed!), John and Janathan (best pool bartenders!).
