Amazing food

The food was outstanding, truly the best I have ever experienced at an all-inclusive resort. The service was exceptional — we were upgraded and received truly amazing treatment from all the waiters and staff. On the downside, the bed was not comfortable, and the air conditioner was quite noisy. Also, from an eco-friendly perspective, it was disappointing that all drinks were served in plastic cups instead of glass.

The service at the slide was great my daughter love the slides, Willy the waiter that was serving myself and family our beverages was excellent. Our last day at the hotel he was off and my daughter miss him the most. He was so kind to myself and family. We can’t not say enough nice things about him. The waiters are all the restaurants were very nice and willing to explain things to us since Spanish isn’t our first language. The lifeguards at all the pools was very attentive and made use everyone was safe.

I absolutely loved everything about our stay at Dreams Macao Beach! The resort is breathtaking, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the service was truly exceptional from beginning to end. A special thank you to Narquin and Rafaelina, who were incredibly attentive and kind throughout our stay. Our mayordomo, Jimmy, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed—he truly made our trip feel effortless and luxurious. We also had the pleasure of being assisted by Ricardo during our romantic dinner on the beach, and he made the evening so much fun and memorable. Every detail was perfect, and his energy and professionalism added a special touch to an already magical night. Dreams Macao is a vey lovely resort, so many things to do, lovely staffs, so clean and the food is top notch as well. Domingo is our butler and his professionalism is on another level. My teen daughters enjoyed this resort so much. We will be back again.

The only thing I didn’t like it was the check in process. We were so tired and we got in the property around 2:30 and the check in start at 3pm. We got our room at 4:30pm. I lost that day because of the check in process. Other than that, I was impressed with the people that works there. They had a great attitude and always happy. The food was another surprise. It was really good. Buffet, Italian, French and the Japanese were great. I didn’t try the other places. The beach was a little crazy with the waves, but it was fun for adults and older kids. For a family with small kids, it is great place, because they have a kiddy water park and full water park for older kids and adults. Definitely recommend this hotel and I am coming back for sure.

This was a nice resort, but had a few drawbacks. The rooms were a little worn, the shower had a shower head that did not work and the door leaked into the bathroom so that the floor was wet the entire time. A light was flickering constantly in the bathroom and at night after showering there was a horrible smell of sewage, which I was able to block by putting all our towels over the grate. I had to ask 3 x before getting hand soap for the bathroom. They only gave us 3 towels even thought there were 4 of us. (Little things, but annoying to deal with on vacation) Beds were comfortable and the fridge was stocked with ample water and other beverages. Staff was very friendly. Upon checking in there was a hard sales pitch to join the Hyatt club, and we were told that since we booked through Expedia we were not “preferred status” and we should have booked through Hyatt bc we would have automatically been preferred. Preferred has access to extra pools and amenities, and can also book reservations at the hibachi restaurant. We were told to book reservations there by the front desk but then told they don’t take reservations by the restaurant. Apparently only preferred can do that. Food was generally good although not amazing. The taco truck was amazing and the best food of the week. Overall we had a nice trip but it wasn’t the best all inclusive we’ve been to

The food was underwhelming. Drinks were in small weathered plastic glasses. Restaurants were mostly non-air conditioned. Rooms smelled of mold and were not regularly serviced. Butler was no where to be found and did not respond promptly to requests. I could easily rate my experience a 2, but feel that this would be a punitive score.
