Book Pocono Country Place hotels

I personally didn’t like the extra fees that the hotel charged even though Expedia charged fees to cover the stay. The fact that you had to pay 25 per night just for parking . How the breakfast buffet is 100 with an automatic 18% gratuity included for a party of 3 (2 adults one child ). How the indoor water park closes at 8pm but you can’t check in until 4 pm . In the end we had a good time but it would be nice if we wouldn’t be surprised with additional hidden fees especially if Expedia charges for the same fees .

To all of the staff and the resort overall was really nice and everyone was very friendly and welcoming

I love this place is great for kids and adults my family first time and can’t wait to schedule are next trip

We were definitely disappointed with our stay. At check in, we were informed that the pool and hot tub were closed for renovation. And while they did offer a full refund if we wanted to book elsewhere-that would have been very stressful to do after a long drive. We may have booked elsewhere had we known prior to checking in. The hotel is more of a motel feel and is right next to the highway so the road noise was fairly loud in the rooms at night. The breakfast was disappointing. Being served food, at the bar, was ok but the service was not very welcoming and the food wasn't very consistent. The food on day 1 was ok, but on days 2 and 3 it was cold or burnt. The pictures on their website of the breakfast was not accurate at all. The bathroom was in bad shape. The floor of the bathtub was stained and torn up, the shower curtain bar almost fell off while I was in the shower, and the shower head was actually hanging off the wall. It was also not well maintained: discolored caulking & stained floors. There wasn't an exhaust fan in the bathroom so we had to wait a while for the steam to clear out of the bathroom before we could dry our hair. We did let the front desk know about the shower curtain rod and shower head and they did tighten the shower curtain rod. The Lounge is a great idea and it was really nice to be able to grab some food and drinks later in the evening. The bar staff was very friendly and the food was good bar food.
