The hotel staff were the best part! They made us feel welcome and at home. The property has beautiful roof top views and a close walk to the beach/ 5th Avenida. They made our trip a nice place to relax after a long day of adventures! The only thing I would change is longer hours open for the roof top (both morning and evening) would've been a nice option.

The property overall was very nice. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was very small but it had a nice balcony and bathroom. The room was clean but no space to put anything such as clothes, shoes, etc. the pillows were very fat and uncomfortable. We asked for smaller pillows but unfortunately they did not have any. The curtain closing the sliding glass door was also broken and light would come into the room so I had to tie it with a hair tie. The property is walkable to everything including 5ta Avenida just one block away. The rooftop area is nice but not the best. The drinks were amazing though.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. All of the staff members were very helpful and friendly, particularly Yair, who made our experience even better. It was within 10 mins walking distance to a TON of great restaurants in every direction, and only about a 10 minute walk to the beach as well! If we stay in Playa del Carmen again we will certainly stay here!

Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The booking came with "Free breakfast." However, you only get a limited selection of the menu such as fruit, eggs, and chicaquiles. Despite showing my booking info, the employees and supervisor still denied that breakfast was included. Also, the electricity would shut off randomly. My phone won't charge and I almost fell in the shower because the lights went out. Of course the hotel did not provide any sort of compensation or refund for these problems! There were so many other better hotels in the area so do your research but definitely don't go to IT Boutique unless you want to have a horrendous experience! R U N !!!

For the price point on this hotel, it was beyond expectations!! The staff are very helpful and super friendly !! The hotel is just off of busy 5th avenue, so you don’t get the noise, but, still benefit from being close to the action!! The beach is only steps away also. So many good restaurants and bars to enjoy close by! Breakfast was nice, only a couple options but, both options were plenty good for us!! I would come back to the IT Boutique in a heartbeat next time Playa Del Carmen is on my list !!
