Great location to downtown Mt Airy

Walter, that was working the front desk was amazing, friendly, courteous and professional. Continental breakfast selection was very limited and the ice machine weren’t working were the only drawbacks.

The room was filthy, told the office…….. she said “too bad” and handed us a spray bottle of cleaner and a towel. even the sidewalk in front of our room was covered with “something” spilled. Got it on my shoes when checking in, notified the office, it was still there untouched when we checked out the next day. Terrible !!!

The fitness center was pretty weak.

This hotel is located very close to the interstate making for an easy off easy on experience. The room was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was small but fine and very, very warm. The hot tub was ice cold due to a part being broken on it (as per the girl at the front desk) but we were told about that ahead of time so we knew to expect it. The beds were very comfortable and we slept fine. Everything in the room worked as it should. The shower and bathroom area was clean. The breakfast was a normal hot breakfast bar but it did not feature sausage or bacon but instead some sort of ham that looked like luncheon meat, it wasn't very good. The other options were just fine. We were staying overnight on our way to another destination and we would stay again next year when we make this trip again. Wasn't very many restaurants close by to choose from, we settled for a Wendys. Other options were normal like burger king etc.
