They couldn’t find our Expedia booking. Then when I pulled it up on my phone they said we were supposed to be there a day prior. Again I showed them they were wrong and that I had the correct dates on the booking in my phone. Then we were placed in a queen room when we booked a king. Nowhere on the hotel info did it say that there was a charge to have a pet. They charged $30 per day for the dog. I’m ok with paying it but don’t sneak in costs without telling people.

Good location, breakfast and kiddie pool.

Older hotel that looks freshly renovated. Very nice bathroom, comfortable beds, bar fridge, microwave and coffee pod machine. The breakfast was great, delicious self serve waffles, cerial muffins, juice etc. and they even served scrambled eggs. They have a pool but its only 3 feet deep all the way, not too cool for adults but it was amazing for the kids. Location is great, 2 blocks to the parksville boardwalk, 1 block to McDonalds and chineese food. All and all a good cleanhotel at a very good price considering free parking, a pool and breakfast included.

We were in Parksville for a famlly event. We were happy that our early check in was accommodated and we were able to settle in after our very early ferry ride. The woman at the front desk was wonderful! The room was clean and freshly renovated. I do like having floors instead of carpet; however, it did feel a bit “cold” with the white walls and would bring some slippers or flip flops to wear next time. It wasn’t physically cold, the HVAC worked perfectly, just a cold feeling. Our room was on the main floor with a walk in shower. It was nice that we could back our truck up to a spot in front of our window and see it from the room. The room had everything we needed. Mini fridge, coffee maker (I think there was a microwave? But can’t remember as we didn’t use it). The beds were comfortable and linens fresh and white. Even the pillows were great and I rarely like hotel pillows. We didn’t have a do not disturb sign or make up our room. We were there for three nights and I am guessing as we did not have the placard for our door that no one entered to sweep up and make the beds. Not a big deal but just something to note if you do want it made up. The breakfast was basic with scrambled eggs as the only hot item. Fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, instant oatmeal, cold cereal, bread, croissants and many muffins as well as make your own waffles. The coffee was very good! If we are in Parksville again we would definitely stay there again.

Great location. Easy to get anywhere. However this property has absolutely NO soundproofing what so ever. I could hear some man swearing at his wife in the evenings and kids running wild in the hallways. Even conversations spoken in low voices could be heard from other rooms. Nice staff and good breakfast. If you’re looking to relax I would loon elsewhere. If you’re looking for convenience this is your spot.

The hotel is quiet and the bed/bedding is comfortable. The soaker tub was nice too. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The ac unit was a bit difficult to use and would shut off intermittently through the night causing the room to get hot cold.
