This was an amazing place. Even more beautiful in person, both inside as well as the views. So comfortable and relaxing. Our last day, we hiked out to the ocean and on down the lava flows behind the house. It was gorgeous and one of our favorites of all the things we did on our vacation.

It was amazing, everything we expected and more. Was very peaceful. We cant wait to stay again.

Great place to stay, ocean views fabulous

This was an amazing space to stay in for our visit to the big island! The home was immaculately clean, had everything we needed to be comfortable (including a washer & dryer), and afforded incredible views of the ocean (just steps away). The location is convenient for those based around Hilo and the neighbohood is quiet & walkable. We appreciated Liz's responsive communication prior to arriving and the ease checking in & out. I enjoyed my stay here. The place is one of a kind and each room is unique. I was reluctant at first because of the shared bathroom, but I never had issues when I needed to use it. There is also an additional bathroom outside that I didn’t read about or see until my last night. The outdoor hot tub and shower were all placed uniquely in the back of the property amongst nature. The location is super remote and takes some patience trying to find, but you stay here for that reason — off the beaten path. The grounds indoors and out were well maintained. The artwork at the entrance and books inside are provocative and edgy which matches the vibe of the place. The kitchen, dining area, living room and patio were spacious enough for those who want to be alone. Locks are provided on every room door for security. There is a house cat that lurked around. Not a fan, an allergic, but that was minor compared to the beauty of the place. Complimentary snacks are provided in the room, however some water in the kitchen for guests would have been good. Highly recommend
