The staff was friendly. I was put off at check out having to pay for a lost room key card. We were not told that we'd have to pay for a lost key card at check in. The Lady referred me to a information packet that was in Japanese that apparently mentioned the lost key card fee. The AC remote wasn't functioning properly in our room. I had to take it downstairs in order for them to repair it for me. The AC went lukewarm in the middle of the night in one of our rooms. They fixed it for us after the 2nd night of our stay.
The rooms were large, and the property was clean. The staff was great. The 24-hour drinks (matcha latte all day) were fantastic. However, I would not recommend the breakfast buffet.
Very nice hotel and great location. Breakfast is very decent and free drinks and snacks during the day.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
My family had a great stay at the Karaksa Hotel in Osaka Namba area. The facilities were clean and in good condition, the breakfast was great and the staff was excellent. I will stay here again.
The air conditioning was horrible. It will keep turning off five minutes after we figured out how to turn it on. Lowest temperature in the room was about 76-78. It was fresher outside. The rest was fine but the temperature if the room just killed the experience.
Fantastic location and nice bathroom setup with the toilet and a tiny sink separate from the huge shower with a full-size sink. Free 24-hr beverages, snacks in the afternoon, and a large area to sit in the lobby outside of breakfast time was also very nice after a long day of walking. Rooms are not large by Western standards but larger than our Tokyo (also 3-star but we had 2 rooms) or Kyoto (4-star) hotel rooms. We were a family of 3 in a triple with carry-on sized luggage and we made it work. However, I'd like to recommend some hooks be installed throughout, as well as a luggage stand. We used the top of the fridge, half the table, and one of the stools. I can't imagine what full-size luggage folks would do.
Really good location close to dotonbori. Hotel is modern, we didn't have much of a window so had no natural light which was a shame. The bed is actually too big, it would be better if the bed was smaller giving you more room. It is very basic and it was our most expensive stay in Japan but the overall experience didn't reflect what we paid. It wasn't as clean as other hotels we stayed. Bed was comfortable but you only get given one tiny sized pillow. For a giant superking bed you would expect bigger pillows or at least more than one. Felt very budget.
Good amenities and nice free drinks and snacks. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The staff and property were excellent. A few less toiletries provided compared to other hotels in Japan. Rooms were very compact (I know that is standard but letting future stays know). The beds were very firm. Liked the location being close to a lot of food options.
