I’ve stay d at this hotel numerous times over the past 20 years and whilst it’s always been on the basic side, the location was convenient for restaurants on I drive and the pool is a great size with plenty of loungers. Both of these things are still true however the quality of the rooms has regressed. On arrival the floor was so dirty we asked at reception (who were very dismissive) to have the floor cleaned. I don’t think housekeeping carries a mop and bucket which explains a lot. There were hairs on the floor, the toilet was dirty from the previous occupants. This situation didn’t really improve. The fridge kept freezing its contents, so much so a Coke exploded during the night. The air con, dehumidifier and bathroom fan meant the room felt like a circus at times, not very restful at all. On a plus note, the bed was comfortable

Nothing like was advertised. The shower screamed when you turned it on, the faucet was barely connected to the sink, tons of water damage along the floor boards of the bathroom, and a molded looking fridge in the bathroom area. Eek. Bed was comfortable for one night

The staff at the reception was great. But the hotel is old and doesn’t have personal for house keeping. We need to get some towels and shampoo at the reception and the Friday night we couldn’t sleep until 12.30 am because the music at the pool was very loud.

The room that was given to me was disgusting to say the least. As soon as I opened the door to the room, I was greeted by an unmade bed with sheets on the floor and the mattress exposed. I walked around the room baffled by what I had just witnessed only to find the bathroom dirty. The trash can was thrown on the floor with trash scattered all over the floor. I proceeded to attempt to contact the front desk and make them aware of the condition of my room only to find out the phone in the room didn’t work either. Once I walked over to the front desk I was ignored and skipped by other customers who apparently did not need to make a line like the rest of us. After about 15 minutes I was finally able to speak to someone and demanded to speak to a manager, showed them the picture I took of the room I was given, I was told there was nothing that can be done.. I requested a refund immediately. I’m still waiting for that. I will never ever book a room in this hotel again. This was completely unacceptable.

If you had actually shown what the building's facade looks like, I wouldn't have booked with you. The rooms look good in the photos, but the beds are uncomfortable, the mattresses sag, and the room smells musty. Oh, and the air conditioner sounds like it has something rattling around inside (room 3207).
