I'll start with the good: This hotel was priced affordably and was a very convenient location to the train station and the subway. It also isn't a bad walk to the theaters. The staff was friendly, allowed us to check our bags easily and we were able to check in right at 3. However, our room left something to be desired. Some of the issues we encountered might have been unique to our room. The door wasn't hung properly so there was a gap that let in light in the upper left corner. We were also right next to the ice machine and a room that held house keeping things so there was a ton of noise outside of our room, all of which could be heard in our room. If you're looking for a cheap, convenient place to stay, this could be great for you. If you are looking for a restful place to stay, look elsewhere.

Location was ideal, very central with subway station at end of street. Staff were very pleasant, rooms comfortable and clean. Plenty of choice for our breakfast. Not much choice of hot food but plenty of other options; cereal, bagels, toast, muffins, waffle maker, fresh fruit. The only downside to the hotel was it was very noisy 2 nights out of our 4 night stay. Our rooms were at the front of the building. Maybe rooms at rear of building would be quits

Laura Lopez, front desk evening manager was excellent! She helped with maps, transportation issues. Whatever request we asked she was so professional, no matter what request she was extra ordinally helpful and greeted each request with a smile. A true asset to the Hilton organization.

For the room rate, the place is crappy overall, like a Motel 6 in Topeka. Not that I've ever been to Topeka, but it's how I would imagine it to be. I'll never stay here again. Well, maybe if they proceed the rooms as if it were a Motel 6 in Topeka. It's pretty clear they are not counting on repeat biz to stay in biz.
