I had a brilliant stay here. Got a good package deal. Loved the city. Clean, quiet room and I felt safe staying here. Most staff were friendly too. Location is great. Awesome bar at the top with fantastic views. Comfy bed. My only complaint is that someone from housekeeping came in on one day and I didn’t like that. I like privacy. There is a tablet in the room but there was no way to say I didn’t need a cleaner coming in so I spoke to reception and no one came in again. I recommend this hotel.

There was no hot water when taking a shower. The breakfast was not good. The food was cold both days. I thought if I went earlier to breakfast the second day it would be better and it wasn’t.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff at reception and at the bars were amazing! The cool mood lights through the iPad system was fun. There were a few issues for us. We were very disappointed in the breakfast. It was overpriced and not tasty at all. The housekeeping was on some sort of request system that was based on a deadline so our trash was never emptied nor were our towels refreshed.

This hotel and its service are overpriced and underperforms. While we paid more than $500/night, there were many problems, which were not addressed properly. We got the impression that there is no monitoring of the staff activities or the performance of certain activities. The heating system caused serious problems and the room cleaning service was not functional to name a few. When we asked to talk to the general manager we were told that she is on vacation and the shift manager is our only hope. It was embarrassing to see how many times we had complained, each time to a different person since there was no access to upper management. After having all these problems none of the “managers” that we interacted with ever offered any compensation for the hassle, inconvenience and overall bad performance. I’d stay away from a hotel which is run so inadequately and so poorly.

A very unique stay. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. Location was phenomenal as it is right next to the red 1 (my first time in nyc and first time on the subway) and it got is to many locations or near by. We did have issues with the shower as there were times the water was very hot and others it was a struggle trying to figure out how to get out to warm up. But that may have just been user error. Also be aware that the doors are not sound proof going out into the hallway so loud conversations or orher sounds can be heard but i never heard any noises from the walls so you are good there. See no evil pizza was a great spot for pizza going down towards the subway. Just make a reservation if going in the evening.
