great location - steps away from the subway, and in super-cool soho. really clean. expensive price per night but you do get grown alchemist toiletries and a really exclusive feel. all the staff are amazing and really friendly. quiet hotel which is sometimes rare in new york!

Great location if you’re someone who appreciates that there’s more to NYC thanTines Square and Park avenue. I stay at the Howard 11 whenever I visit New York, and I walk and/or subway everywhere from there.

Comfortable stay. The service in the “Library” is very slow and could use assistance and attention to the food. I’d appreciate refillable hand soap and lotion dispensers in the bathroom.

11 Howard may have been hip in the 90s, but it’s pretty tired now. The room was very clean though noisy, but the furniture there and in common areas was kind of shabby. Front desk people were reasonably nice but we didn’t ask for much. No coffee in the room. They gave us little cards for a free drink but not in the bar—there was a convoluted explanation I was too tired to follow. It’s close to the subway and shopping on Lower Broadway, but also right by Canal St.
